ALPHA PSI RHO FRATERNITY
Alpha Psi Rho Fraternity was founded on the San Diego State campus on March 1, 2000.
The fraternity was established as an avenue to positively impact one's community while sharing a brotherhood with other college men from the Asian and Pacific Islander-American community.
Since then, Alpha Psi Rho has established chapters at other universities, including
Cal State Northridge, Cal State San Marcos, and University of Las Vegas, Nevada.
MISSION STATEMENT
“We, the Gentlemen of Alpha Psi Rho, strive to achieve Brotherhood through active participation in the community by promoting Asian/Pacific Islander awareness. Through fostering scholastic achievement, we shall mold future leaders who will actively pursue the apex of life. Our cultural background shall provide us with the strength and unity to attain greatness. Through brotherhood, we will produce high-caliber men who will be triumphant in the face of perseverance. We are the Gentlemen of Alpha Psi Rho.”
DELTA SIGMA PSI SORORITY
The Delta Sigma Psi Sisterhood was founded on the San Diego State campus on December 12, 1998.
The sorority's motto of "Individually Unique...Together Complete," is embodied by its sisters. Delta Sigma Psi focuses their purpose; "to incorporate a lifelong journey of promoting friendship and sisterhood as they embark on their college education."
The Alpha chapter of Delta Sigma Psi, recently celebrated 20 impactful years on this campus.
